Since its inauguration in 2003, Bahrain Specialist Hospital has earned local and international recognition for its quality and high standards of care. Bahrain Specialist Hospital was the first hospital in the Kingdom of Bahrain to receive Joint Commission International accreditation in 2011 and has maintained this high level of quality certification since then. Recently, Bahrain Specialist Hospital was given Diamond level accreditation by the National Health Regulatory Authority of the Kingdom of Bahrain. In addition, Bahrain Specialist Hospital has received certifications as a center of excellence in various fields, such as minimally invasive gynecology from the American Association of Gynecology Laparoscopists (AAGL) and Surgical Review Corporation (SRC).
