Canada’s National Seniors’ Advocacy Organization urgently and actively supports a life course vaccination program for Canadians of all ages. In our platform – VOICES of Canada’s Seniors – A Roadmap to an Age-Inclusive Canada we identify three issues specific to adult vaccinations and offer recommendations to these issues: Adult Vaccination Schedules – Create an easy-to-understand national campaign with a clear schedule for all adult vaccinations similar to existing schedules for children and youth; an Adult Vaccination Registry – Create a modern, integrated, and digitalized adult vaccination registry; and Vaccines in Long-Term Care Homes – Institute vaccine requirements for long-term care and congregate care seniors’ settings, similar to children and youth school programs.
